Sets or changes the creation or modification date of an annotation.

Parameters

Parameter Description Example
PDF The PDF reference returned from DynaPDF.New. $pdf
AnnotationHandle The annotation index. 5
DateType The type of date. Can be CreationDate (Markup annotations only) or ModificationDate. "ModificationDate"
Value The new date value. Can be a timestamp or the number of seconds from 1st Jan 1970. Get(CurrentHostTimeStamp)

Result

Returns OK or error.

Description

Sets or changes the creation or modification date of an annotation.
The following annotation types are markup annotations:
  • Care
  • Circle, Square
  • FileAttach
  • FreeText
  • Highlight, Squiggly, Strikeout, Underline
  • Ink
  • Line
  • PolyLine, Polygon
  • Projection
  • Redact
  • Sound
  • Stamp
  • Text

The function DynaPDF.GetAnnotation can also be used to determine whether an annotation is a markup annotation.
